VLT Midi Drive FC 280

After more than two decades of success, the popular VLT® 2800 drive has been replaced by the new VLT® Midi Drive FC 280. Thanks to its compatibility with the previous-generation device, the new drive enables an easy migration from the VLT® 2800 to the FC 280. Five different enclosure sizes with a power range of 0.37–22 kW and 200 V and 400 V supply versions ensure that the drive can be used across the full range of applications where the VLT 2800 was previously applied. The device comes with an exceptionally rich standard feature set. Harmonic reduction via a built-in DC choke (three-phase units) and active power factor correction (single-phase units) are included as standard, without additional cost. An RFI filter disconnect switch minimizes leakage current and improves operational safety when supplied from IT networks.
